Things don’t look good for Sprint.  Losing customers like crazy and no market momentum.  Maybe they should consider becoming a data-only service?

Sprint Nextel Corp., the U.S. mobile- phone company that lost more than a million customers last quarter, said it may sell some assets after its net loss swelled to $505 million.

The first-quarter net loss expanded to 18 cents a share, from $211 million, or 7 cents, a year ago, Overland Park, Kansas- based Sprint said today in a statement. The company said it’s considering shedding some assets, as well as renegotiating credit terms, to meet obligations to lenders.  (Bloomberg)
