ANZ will lay off 800 staff in coming weeks as the effects of the global financial crisis hits the domestic sector hard.
According to a report in the weekend edition of the Australian newspaper, around half the layoffs have already been announced, with the remainder to be made in the coming two weeks. (MarketWatch)
