Let’s put the nail in the coffin on this one. We didn’t expect any other outcome.

Bankrupt electronics retailer Circuit City Inc. said Friday it has asked for court approval to close its remaining 567 U.S. stores and sell all its merchandise.

The company said it has 34,000 employees. (CNN)

Circuit City Stores Inc. filed for bankruptcy protection on Monday heading into the busy holiday season as analysts question whether the nation’s second-biggest electronics retailer will be able to survive. (AP)

Circuit City is shuttering stores.  How they continue to stay alive is a mystery given the miserable experience I have every time I set foot in one of their stores.  Hopefully, the whole francshise goes belly up.
